This morning my parents decided they wanted to go see Tulips at Gardens By the Bay. On the drive there, they both keyed in the destination into their phones’ GPS apps – the voice on my mom’s was a woman; my dad’s a man.
Throughout the entire drive, both apps kept giving different instructions and my dad, being the manly man that he is, followed his, claiming that the one my mom was using was inaccurate because it “was a woman”. Ironically enough, my dad’s app gave amazingly inaccurate directions.
And the moral of the story is that everyone should use GPS apps that have female voices giving directions.
I swear, I had something way more philosophical in mind while I was in the car, I just forgot it.
That’s the end of this post.
